Thank you so much for visiting the friends! Ratpie is a Philadelphia-based independent press, created with intentions to elevate talent in the DIY music scene and beyond! We started as a page to collect and organize the house show dates each week, in one convenient place, but soon grew into something more. Over the course of entering the community and growing our appreciation for music, Ratpie has evolved into an independent press, dedicated to documenting and sharing the love for the blossoming DIY scene in Philly. We share a goal of uplifting local musicians and venues, which has led us to all sorts of avenues: from videos interviews, editorials, to film dumps, artist showcases, and even our own hosting and organizing of events for small artists. We're surrounded by an influx of creative minds in such a lovely community, and we are honored to showcase it all.
